In the picture I am wearing a standard in merino-spandex-jersey. I am 176cm in height and have a head circumference of 57.5cm. This size was a bit difficult to get over my head but does fit nicely around my neck.

 

XSmall:  Approximately 30cm (11.5") in height and have a 45cm (17.5") circumference. Fits most approx 2-10yo. 

Small: Approximately 35cm (13.75") in height and have a 50cm (19.5") circumference. Fits most older kids to small/average adults. This is the size both Lucie (age 9) and I (age unknown) have on in the pictures. 

Medium: Approximately 35cm (13.75") in height and have a 55cm (21.5) circumference. Fits most average adults.

Large: Approximately 40cm (15.5") in height and have a 57.5cm (22.6") circumference. Fits most larger adults.

Extra Height: Approximately 50cm (20" high).
